"A pesar de un primer encontronazo con el que respondía al teléfono, pues no quieren entender que según Normativa del TS, no es legal el almacenaje de fotografías del DNI, y encima querer tener la razón, la habitación es espectacular, superlimpia, acogedora, tiene de todo y todo cuidado al detalle, la cama, es muy comoda, sin duda es de las mejores estancias que he estado. "We loved this apartment in Haro! It was close to everything we wanted to do and see. From the train station it’s about a 20 minute walk, with some uphills. Check-in was straight forward if you follow the preregistration guidelines. We stayed in a Limehouse just prior to Haro and love their setup, they think of everything. 4/10 Poor

"Room smelled of urine, after it was cleaned it smelled ok, but the urine smell returned. Beds were hard and not comfortable. Lots of rules, can’t take breakfast back to room, can’t eat in the lobby. I heard the word forbidden so many times. I asked for two wine glasses and they gave me juice glasses… they have a bar. Parking garage is a huge challenge getting in and out using a car lift. Our car was fairly small and it was still a challenge. The staff has to assist you to get your car out. Breakfast was the standard European style breakfast. Long lines every morning at the one coffee/espresso machine. On a more positive note they did have locked bike storage. Bottom line, you get what you pay for."

"This is an honest review, highlighting both good and bad. The 'Hotel' is an impressive building but I feel it has lost its way insomuch that it has very few guest facilities, apart from a bedroom, and it feels somewhat tired. Interesting historic building with comfortably safe motorcycle parking near the reception. Lovely helpful staff, Reasonably good buffet breakfast with a wide variety of cakes, the usual assortment of local ham and cheese products and endless coffee. Generous size and quality bath towels in the room. Kettle in room; but no cups, 5 bags of sugar and one coffee ! Short walk to a really good riverside restaurant (La Higuera); but get there early or book as it is very popular with the local community. We ate there twice it's that good. This is not really a hotel and should only be classed as a B&B; there is no bar or restaurant despite having some very spacious public rooms however, Bottled Beer, wine and coffee can be purchased from reception; but there is not always someone there. The town feels run down and a bit scruffy so don't expect anything to write home about; but the local area offers some spectacular riding roads. There is no air conditioning; luckily it was reasonably cool during our stay and we slept with the window open."

"The hotel is very well run, I liked the coffee station but no coffee in the room was a minor down side, the breakfast was very varied and delicious The only problem for me is I stayed on Sunday and the restaurant next door was shut and no local options available also hotel doesn't have a bar"
