Nice Hotel

Hotel was excellent and staff was amazing, age range for people staying was 65 years old and above. So i felt out of place. Hotel is centralized around many restaurants and 1 block from the beach.

The hotel is well located in a close proximity to a very good beach, The train station with local trains to Malaga is 800 metres away (walk uphill). The hotel is very clean, however, some facilities in the room are a bit dated (bathroom). We spotted a few cockroaches in our room but this is a problem in Spain, and our room was on the lowest floor. Dining in the hotel is excellent, the choice and variety is great, food is very fresh and thereare good vegetarian options as well. It's impossible to try it all. Also, despite large number of people, restaurant is not very crowded and there are no queues. There is entertainment in the hotel, for adults mostly- ping-pong, aqua gym, etc. The entertainment staff speaks Spanish, French, German and English. The hotel has lots of facilities for disabled/less mobile- lifts, chair-lifts, rails and slope to the pool. The swimming pool is very big which is good considering how big the hotel is. The swimming pool area opens at 9:00, so there is no need to wake up early to reserve a sunbed. A few people queue from 8:30, but it is easy to find a sunbed around 9:00. However, later, usually all sunbeds are taken until afternoon. Some sunbeds don't have umbrellas and are on direct sun. However, there are lots of sunbeds available in the garden- a short walk from the swimming pool and they are always empty. Downfalls- you need to pay for wifi access. The hotels still uses lots of plastic cups. Overall, it was a great stay for a reasonable price.

Rummet var mer än ostädat när vi kom, golvet är inte avstädat på mycket lång tid ( tog bild) bänkar och övrigt torkade jag själv av. Efter kontakt med receptionen ( mycket otrevliga) så hänvisar de oss enbart till Boknings byrån. Hotellet kan inte göra något mer än be oss vänta och se om det kan få tag i någon som kan städa..Inget nytt rum eller annan hjälp. Maten bra och övriga personal okey.

Hi just returned from a three night at las palomas hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean. It was glad having a kettle and a fridge in our hotel room. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. The food was ok. A/I starts at 10am until 11pm which was good nice pool area, the entertainment staff worked really hard. Five minutes walk to the beach shops bars and restaurants. We will definitely stay there again

Тихий. спокойный.Удобно расположен и в отношении достопримечательностей, и транспорта, и моря. Хорошо организовано питание. Нам понравилось все. Единственное неудобство: номер был расположен на втором этаже и близко к пищеблоку: был слышен звук работающей вытяжки. Мы нисколько не пожалели, что нам предложили данный отель. Мы будем рекомендовать его своим друзьям. Спасибо.

Verblijf in Hotel Las Palomas in Torremolinos

Ik ben 15 jaar geleden ook in dit hotel geweest,en het is eigenlijk tot op heden weinig veranderd.De enige renovatie hier is het schilderwerk en de sloten van de kamers met een kaartsysteem. POSITIEF : De vriendelijk heid in de receptie, men is bereid je met alle informatie keurig te helpen.Helaas zijn er ook NEGATIEVE punten : Restaurant : Het ontbijtbuffet is erg slecht.De broodjes zijn keihard,en het aanvullen van het buffet wordt niet bijgehouden.Het apparaat waar de diverse sappen worden geserveerd is dermate smerig en wordt niet om de 2 dagen schoongemaakt,met als gevolg dat de hygiëne dan ook te wensen overlaat. Dit geld ook voor de koffiemachine.Er wordt gewoonweg geen aandacht aan besteed.Ik heb dan ook maar 2 dagen van het ontbijt gebruik gemaakt. Over lunch en diner kan ik niet oordelen,want die heb ik niet meegemaakt. Het kaartsysteem in de kamers is uitstekend,echter wanneer men de kamer verlaat,is de stroom uigeschakeld op zich logisch maar de koelkast is dan ook gelijk buiten werking.Dus na terugkomst van het strand zijn de drankjes weer warm. SLOTCONCLUSIE : Het hotel is echt geen 4 sterren waard, en dat kan echt beter,maar beter toezicht en goed managment is hier echt noodzakelijk.

Hotel Las Palomas in Carihuela Torremolinos

Hotel en kamers zijn goed. Het eten is niet dat wat we er van verwacht hadden. Van de 6 dagen maar 3x in het hotel gegeten. (Diner was matig en 1x slecht) Ontbijt is gratis dat merk je ook aan de kwaliteit. Het gevoel is dat je niet in een restaurant maar in een kantine eet. Maar ja prijs kwaliteits verhouding is goed. Nogmaals kamers zijn netjes en schoon, maar eten moet je buiten het hotel doen.

Pænt, rent og god service

Hotel Las Palomas har god service samtidig med at alt er rent og i orden. Der er kun få hundrede meter til stranden og til et område med mange muligheder for at spise og handle. Hotellet ligger i den vestlige ende af byen, så hovedstrøg og metro ligger lidt langt væk, men der er gode lokalbusser, I skal blot have tid til at vente til den næste, hvis de er overfyldte

Gut für einen Kurzaufenthalt

Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. An der Rezeption spricht man deutsch. Die Bar ist gemütlich. Die Zimmer sind groß, sauber, aber sehr hellhörig und schlicht. Wir konnten auf guten Betten gut schlafen. Der Fernseher hat 3 spanische Sender. Wer andere Sender (ARD, ZDF, RTL) sehen möchte, der muss 3 Euro pro Tag bezahlen! Ein Radio ist nicht vorhanden. Das Hotel macht keinen gemütlichen Eindruck. Sauna ist im Angebot, kostet 9 Euro pro Person. Das Essen war reichlich, aber zumeist lieblos zubreitet. (Pommes weich, Kartoffeln und Nudeln ungesalzen, Salate ohne Pepp, Brötchen immer von gestern, morgens das Ei ausschließlich als Spiegelei. Den Parkplatz muss man bezahlen. Es ist schwierig, die Koffer vor dem Hotel aus dem Auto zu laden, weil es keine Zufahrt zum Hotel gibt. Wir konnten in den Seitenstraßen kostenlos parken - in der Nebensaison gut möglich. Das Silvesterbuffett fanden wir mit 100 Euro pro Person völlig überzogen. In anderen Hotels waren alle oben aufgeführten Leistungen inklusive für die Gäste des Hauses. Touristen sind keine wandernden Brieftaschen!

Don't expect too much

You get what you pay for! The food was edible but boring. If you like either salad and chips or pork and chips, OK. Food needed to be warmed up again in the microwave. Having said this, the hotel as a whole was good enough for what we paid. The entertainment seemed to be aimed at the Spanish guests, but not bad all the same. Drinking sessions needed to be timed to coincide with the two daily happy hours to keep costs down. All in all, if you want a cheap off peak break, it'll do. The train sevice from Malaga airport to Torremolinos, buy tickets on the platform, is good. Drops you off about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Don't throw your train ticket away till you're out of the station!

Appena abbiamo visto l'hotel, ho pensato si trattasse di una struttura molto vecchia. Invece mi è piaciuto parecchio: camere spaziose e dotate di buoni confort; ristorante buono e abbastanza vario; personale capace e gentile; posizione dell'albergo comoda! Buono, ci torneremo!

Old and past it's sell by date

This hotel is very tired looking, whilst the room was clean, the air conditioning did not work niether did the television.To park your car in the hotel grounds was 6.00 euros per day, but it is a hike with a suitcase to reception, the alternative is to risk your life and try to park on a very sharp bend with lots of traffic, the main entrance is blocked off so cars cannot park whilst you drop your luggage, I am to understand this is because this area now belongs to the disco and is run privately to the hotel. I did not try the food as customers advised me that they had just sacked the chef earlier in the week and the food was not very good!!

The hotel was in a good location, but i cant really say any more good thing about it. Most of the receptionists doesnt speak english, some of them not at all. The room is very poor, we havent got enough sampoo, and bath gel, had to go and ask for it. Breakfast was ok. I would expect a bit better service from a 4 star hotel...
