"We recently stayed at Estrellas de Gredos and were really disappointed. The place has stunning mountain views and a traditional curved ceiling, but a lot of things went wrong. The biggest issue was a broken sliding door that wouldn’t lock. When we told the staff, they showed up unannounced at 22:00 and just said it was safe to leave it unlocked, which didn't sit right with us. The inside felt cheap too. "Upgraded to a room with a balcony, friendly staff,room a good size and well equipped. Excellent restaurant. Parking okay though little space outside, underground car park fine. Easy to find off A5. Interesting area for non golfers, colonies of Griffon vultures nearby and short drive to Monfrague national park. Would definitely stay again "
