We had a mixed experience staying at this hotel. The hotel itself, while a tad outdated, looks good and we loved the pool and fitness area. The staff there were excellent, as were the cleaning staff. Our room was cleaned regularly when we weren't there.
However, I must deduct a star for the following issues. The check in experience was far from ideal. We came in with lots of luggage as we have a toddler, the rotating door was very difficult to get through with everything we had and to my surprise, we received no help at all from the staff. On top of that, the band music was BLASTING when our child was sleeping and it was almost impossible to hear the hotel staff. We also had requested a crib and there was no crib in our room when we arrived. We had to ask for it again. Prior to our stay, we were asked for the name of our daughter thinking there may be something personalized in the room for her but there wasn't. Even though we had booked for three adults and a child, there were amenities (bathrobes, slippers, towels, cups, mugs, etc) for just two people. The blinds/sheets controls were finicky and inconsistent. Sat in the lobby, asked for the menus, but no one came to take the order.
We stayed at a different hotel by the airport prior our flight back home that was a third of the price and didn't have any of these issues. Our crib was in the room, we received help with our luggage without even asking, and we had the right amount of amenities for the people staying.
