Great location. You’re paying for location here. Toilet seat was broken. Pictures were staged very well, it’s nice but again, location is paramount. We were supposed to get checking instructions 48 hours before and that didn’t happen. 2 unanswered messages and a few unanswered calls later a text came through. There was a pool listed as an amenity which never happened. Fob didn’t work for that and after a message on day one, host said they’d be there in the morning to help. Never showed. Never happened. Don’t expect a pool and don’t expect space. But again, location is worth it. Bathroom had a lot of hair that didn’t belong to our family. Not just in the tub. On the floor, in the sinks, everywhere. It’s too bad because the broken toilet seat and most of these issues are simply effort from the host. Don’t tell a guest you’ll do something like send check in instructions ahead, or drop off instructions for the pool, or send them a text at checkout saying please don’t review our family business bad online, just private message us the bad but give a good review. I imagine that’s why it’s rated as high as it is, that along with the fact that the location is great. But just a little effort from the host would change this place immensely.
