Not fancy but value for money.

No staff in the hotel, cafe open 7 -16 and a vending machine, rooms were nice if you are travelling alone, good service over mail was provided.

Historic house

Interesting historic house, once a nurses home as it’s opposite a hospital! No reception, access via a door code sent to you by SMS on day of arrival. Except mine did not arrive. Had to work out who to phone (security guy) then was told room wasn’t ready. All a bit of a nuisance as we were tired after a long journey. But having spoken to the staff, ten mins later my code arrived. Total delay 20 mins. However, room was fine though very small, with useful kitchenette. All very clean and quiet too. There’s a small cafe to buy breakfast. Easy location for walking into town and down to harbour.

This property was quiet and clean. And the dining room/ lounge area was like sitting in a tea room, very quaint. And the attached cafe had nice options and good coffee and tea.

Charging electric car CRAZY expensive

Charging your electric car just outside the apartments are crazy expensive. The overnight charging, from 23:12 in the evening until 09:08 in the morning, cost almost as much as I paid for the room! The EasyPark app did not give an estimate price. Would have been nice if Wilhelmsen house Apartments could give their customers a warning that this parking is SO expensive :-(

Bad

I am usually not very demanding, but this was not what I expected it would be. The hospital as nearest neighbor, no cleaning, really small - and a "fully equipped" kitchen with no oven. Didn't like the bed either. Nice people in the café, but that is not enough for booking this place again.

Oppholdet var veldig bra. Fikk beskjed om at jeg kunne booke inn kl 1445, men fikk ikke koden før noen minutter over kl 1500. Det ble litt hektisk for oss av den grunn. Parkeringa var svindyr!!

Kommer gjerne hit igjen!

Var på 4-dagers kurs i helgen. Frokosten var veldig bra. Blide og hyggelig personale. Hotellet var rolig, og ingen støy pga det ligger i et rolig strøk. Fornøyd med renhold. Men det kunne ha vært en badematte til bruk etter dusjing. Savnet søppelposer til kjøkkenet.
