Really great price for the location ! We were able to walk to everywhere we wanted to go in Toledo. Staff was amazing and very patient with our broken Spanish and most actually spoke English.

It was a wonderful place to stay. Near all the places you should visit if you go to Toledo. Breakfast was nice, and the staff was polite and friendly. If we go again to Toledo, we will stay here again.

Sweet little place to stay. The front desk was manned and I received excellent restaurant advice. On the edge of things with an underutilized terrace which had great potential, but was never cleaned the 3 nights we stayed. The shower and bed were excellent.

Don't miss staying at this charming hotel in Toled

We absolutely loved our stay at this charming hotel so conveniently located at the gates of The Old City. The reception was quick and friendly, room spotless, breakfast for 9 Euros a piece well worth the money as it was abundant and delicious.

First of all, two huge issues as for me: this hotel is located NOT where Google maps show it, which is a real problem for a tourist, in addition, there was no parking available at all, which again is a problem on these narrow medieval streets. One smaller problem was the lack of soundproofing - you could hear everything that's happening around your room. On the good side: they have at least one person who speaks a decent English which is rare is Spain. The historical building is just gorgeous and very well renovated. Again, not a bad hotel, but for the price I paid, I would have expected more comfort.

Great base for exploring Toledo

The YIT Puerta Bisagra has a great location just inside the city walls. Our room was simple and compact but very clean, the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was excellent quality and very good value at 9 Euros.

Cute and comfortable hotel. Convenient location for transportation to the train station. We had the attic room, which was very cute and right by the rooftop terrace, but the attic ceiling is too low for tall people.

Friendly staff

Clean and well located place in a quiet area close to things to see. Lovely staff. Ok breakfast, a bit expensive for the quality. Got a room in the basement which was a bit dark, the whole place felt a little bit more worn down than expected, but bathroom was new and bed comfortable. Would not pay a full/original price for this maybe, but got a giod offer and then it was very worth it.

Perfect little spot

Staff went above and beyond to accommodate me. Would 100% return, especially for the price and location. Only downside was rooms do not have curtains that keep the light out, so my blindfold came in handy. Traffic/outside noise did not wake me up until 7am and it was pretty quiet outside throughout the evening/night

Likes - location, close to the center of old town and bus service. Staff was very friendly. Dislikes - room and shower were extremely small, barely room to move. We have stayed in eight cities in Spain this year and this room was the smallest by far. AC only blew extremely hot air (set by hotel). Very noisy.

Based just within the town wall. Lovely area on your doorstep. Within easy reach of Jewish quarter and main square. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Only problem was a snapped bed leg that happened after the receptionist had left for the night, so had to sleep on a mattress on the floor for the night. Receptionist on checkout was very apologetic and helped to fill in the form. Just waiting to hear back from them. Other than that, which I am guessing is not a regular occurrence, a basic double room with much needed air conditioning in toledo during the summer. That is all we needed and would recommend it to others in the future.

Pictures shown on website / Expedia are not faithful to what you get. We ordered the triple room with a beautiful view and spacious accommodations. Instead we got a basement room that was TINY. After folding down the “triple bed” there was maybe 8 square feet of room for luggage and getting around. This was after we hauled our luggage across 500 meters of cobblestone (the website did mention this to be fair). I showed the website photos to the front desk and said “what’s the difference between these photos” and got a sassy answer and an indifferent shrug. I privately wrote the property asking for a refund, three days ago. No response. At this point I need to warn future travelers not to fall for the bait and switch of this property. Buyer beware. We will have to settle by calling our credit card company to get our money back. Advice to the property - please just change your photos of the rooms so that customers can make an informed decision. It’s not that hard.
