Hotel Yamagata Hills Ekimae Odori
Room was clean and the bathroom cleaner still. The room was a little small for me - I’m a big fella though. The bed was fine and very comfy. Only stayed one night but was perfectly comfortable and the place was very hospitable.

Daiwa Roynet Hotel Yamagata-ekimae
Nice new hotel with spacious room and nice bathroom. It is a block from the train station and bus terminal so it is easy to explore the regions such as Zao Onsen and Yamadera. The hotel restaurant is one of the best serving famous local beef and hotel guests have a decent discount. Highly recommended ...

Hotel Metropolitan Yamagata
Room was a good size and beds comfy. Liked how we could adjust the air con to either heating or cooling and not just set on one or the other. We stayed in South Tower and quiet. Walked out of the train and straight to the hotel so good.
