Great hotel in a great location right at the downtown area. Yet it is very quiet due to the fact that it is somewhat hidden from the noise. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. There is a hairdryer but no iron in the room FYI.

A perfect place to stay in Tirana

I had the pleasure of staying in Theranda Hotel during my visit to Tirana. The hotel is small, cosy and located in a quiet area, just a short walk from the very center of Tirana. The reception, bar and rooms have a nice and stylish interior, and it was a great beginning of my days in Tirana to enjoy the hotel's breakfast buffet. Furthermore, the English-speaking staff was extremely helpful and service-minded; not only regarding my stay in the hotel, but also with useful information and advice on sightseeing, restaurants and transport in Tirana. The Albanian capital city is really worth visiting. It offers a number of exciting museums as well as possibilities for shopping and restaurants (at reasonable prices). Even Tirana is a city with a million inhabitants, everything is within walking distance - especially if the stay is at Theranda Hotel. Peter Fjerring Copenhagen, Denmark

Nous avons été impressionné par l'accueil des hotesses. Elles savent se montrer intentionnées sans s'imposer. Par ailleurs, le centre ville est proche et nous avons pu faire les visites à pied depuis l'hôtel. Le petit déjeuner est bon avec le café servit par le bar. La terrasse est très agréable pour manger.

Convenient Location in "Block" area

Have stayed at this hotel before. It is very conveniently located for bars cafes and Restaurants and is in a quiet location with a garden setting where we had breakfast. Facilities and service are fine and the breakfast buffet is very good.

The hotel is lovely but the Reception messed up our airport transfer. Information about which roads were closed was incorrect, we had to wait for the taxi for 30 min, then walk and jump into another taxi mid-way and pay twice.

Great little hotel but needs a bit of work done

I am a regular visitor to the Theranda always enjoyed my stays. It located down a side street a 3 minute walk from nice restaurants in a good and safe part of Tirana. The staff are as usual really professional, helpful and friendly. The only down side is that the bathrooms are getting a bit in need of an updating or refreshing and on this visit the room was really cold although the staff did leave me an electric heater to warm up. I don't like to say anything negative about this hotel as they are very nice but if they could address the room temperatures and the bathroom conditions I would be giving full marks.

Great Hotel in excellent Tirana location

An excellent hotel in an excellent location within walking distance of many good restaurants and shopping. As with most of Tirana car parking is difficult but as we were without a car this did not worry us. The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast provided in a very attractive room was very good.
