Convenient and Clean Hotel

Good room. The staff was friendly but did not always have current information about the location of bus services. This led to some delays for us when we didn't have much time. Nice Breakfast. We needed a clean safe place to sleep and that's what was delivered.

Good hotel, great location

Very nice, inexpensive hotel near city center. Very friendly and helpful staff, we moved rooms for different beds without any difficulty. Simple but good breakfast served in the morning.

Very welcoming owner

We had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. When we arrived (a couple of hours before check in time) we just planned to leave our luggage there and check in after check in time. The lady at the reception did not speak English, but she called the owner, who arrived within 15 minutes. She said we could already check in and showed us a comfortable room with a door to the garden. The garden housed three turtles, who were very pleasant to watch. The breakfast was enjoyable with bread, fruit, yoghurt and several other things. We really liked this hotel and if we ever go back to Tirana, we will stay in this hotel again!

Vacanza a Tirana in coppia

Abbiamo soggiornato per 9 notti. L'hotel dista a pochi metri dal centro. La camera è confortevole anche se devo ammettere che i primi giorni nella stanza c'era un forte odore di fumo ma quello è dovuto ai clienti precedenti che magari fumavano durante il loro soggiorno. Ogni mattina la donna delle pulizie cambia gli asciugamani e sterilizza il water. La colazione è abbondante ed il personale molto gentile e cortese. In camera c'è la connessione internet con il wifi ma per quanto riguarda la tv pecca l'antenna. Di notte qualche canale si riesce a vedere ma di giorno il digitale ogni 30 secondi ha qualche interferenza e molti i canali non si riescono a vedere. Ma comunque tutto sommato è un ottimo albergo per qualità prezzo e per il posizionamento dal centro di Tirana, credo che ci tornerò volentieri...

Very nice hotel in good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with the option of having an omelette as well. Only complaint was that the WiFi connection was poor. It didn't work in the room so had to sit at reception or in corridor to get Internet

Отель очень хороший с приятным обслуживанием и месторасположением, искали отель в центре с частной парковкой - это один из немногих, которые нам понравился. Все отлично, кроме одного - скрипела дверь в ванную когда открываешь и закрываешь.(мы были с 2-х годовалым ребенком и постоянно боялись что этот скрип разбудит ребенка)

Nightmare Hotel

Not at all as described. Those posting positive reviews must have very low standards. Shabby room, no elevators, uncomfortable bed, awful shower and very poor services - the ironing board I received fell apart and the iron was older than I am. I checked out after one night and was forced to pay for five. It was so bad I happily obliged. Do not stay here.

Really nice & 5 minutes from Skanderbeg Square!

I've stayed at Hotel Stela twice, and will continue to do so when I return to Tirana. The staff are really friendly and helpful (the receptionist even remembered me from my previous visit a year ago!), and the rooms (at least, the two rooms I've stayed in) are spacious. Plus - and this is essential when visiting Albania in the spring or summer - the air conditioning is incredibly efficient. The hotel's taxi to the airport was reliable and cheaper than taking a taxi from one of the nearby taxi ranks. The hotel is about 5 minutes' (leisurely) walk from Skanderbeg Square, and there are supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

Poor breakfast. Difficulties with payment since hotel staff prefer to have cash payment and if you don't have cash they will charge you with additional 3% for transfer fee. At hotel entrance you will find cards which are supported. Explanation is that this is Hotel policy. So read policy in order to be informed about all rules.

Hotel situato a pochi passi dalla piazza principale, personale parla italiano, ma questi sono gli unici due punti a favore, offre a pagamento il servizio di taxi per l' aeroporto, le camere singole sono molto piccole, in alcuni casi se aprite la porta dell' armadio non potrete più muovervi nella stanza, tutte le stanze sono molto rumorose per via del traffico sulla strada e dei condizionatori posti sotto ogni finestra delle stanze, che sono sempre accesi, anche se spegnete il vostro sentirete per tutta la notte quello della stanza a lato.

Excellent stay near National Museum/Skanderbeg Sq

Spent two nights here with spouse while visiting Albania. Reception was warm and welcoming. Parking available in a nearby garage (paid for my hotel). No elevator so if this is a concern of yours you might stay elsewhere. Room and bathroom were very clean and well appointed, nicely decorated and very quiet. Reception staff seemed genuinely interested in our comfort and were able to provide directions and helpful advice. Bath had both shower and tub, toilet and bidet. Hairdryer also. No kettle in room for tea/coffeemaking. Nice linens and towels. Breakfast was meats, cheeses, breads, croissants, tea/coffee/juice, fruits, tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggs made to order (delicious omelets! We were very happy with our stay here and would definitely return!

Durante il pomeriggio al secondo piano il condizionatore non riesce a far fresco a sufficienza; la doccia non scaricava; il water aveva dei problemi. Per il resto personale disponibile e cortese

Good for short stay

Friendly and helpful staff and the hotel is very centrally located. You get your money's worth, however the wireless left a lot to be desired. Needs a great improvement. I would stay there again, however.

A votre arrivée , avec une réservation confirmée, l’hôtel essaye de vous loger à l'hotel Jolly, même propriétaire, même quartier, même tarif et soit disant équivalent. Pour y avoir séjourné n'acceptez pas cet échange, pas de salle à manger, chambres mansardées très petites, c'est un standing en dessous que vous payerez au prix fort.

Great location, price & awesome staff

This hotel was so flexible and accommodating with our crazy schedule & needs. They did an outstanding job and treated us very well, and i will definitely be staying her the next time i'm in Tirana.
