「I loved how understanding the staff was!」

「The minute we arrived we were greeted by lovely staff and elephants at the pool. What followed was a once in a lifetime experience. The positives - Beds are super comfy with electric blankets for those cold nights and a fan for the warm days. The food was AMAZING. I LOVED being seated with fellow safari mates and getting to know people from across the world even though we are total introverts. Our guide Leighton was brilliant, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. And the wildlife…. Wow. ...

「This is a gorgeous lodge with incredible staff; delicious meals; comfortable and well designed rooms; a very small number of guests to keep the experience intimate; and a once in a lifetime safari opportunity with extremely knowledgeable guides. 」

「Shindzela offers the type of safari experience that is sadly dying out, to be replaced by glitzy, costly options that separate visitors from the real bush. Our guide was excellent; calm & professional even when another group was shrieking and whooping (TIP, wild animals prefer quiet). Our tracker was keen-eyed, polite and focussed. The cooking/cleaning staff clearly took pride in their work. I feel Shindzela is excellent value for money and should form a part of many more travellers' trips....

「We stayed at Simbavati Camp George. The staff at the lodge were fantastic. The guide Alex was very knowledge and entertaining. He made efforts to teach us about wildlife and birds. The food was delicious and the menu was different every night. Simbavati lives up to their reputation. We will be back, They gave us a simbavati water bottle as a souvenir. 」

「Me and my boyfriend had an incredible time at Umlani Bushcamp. The guests, staff, ranger, tracker, hosts and everyone else involved was really nice, and there was such a welcoming atmosphere. We saw a lot of incredible wildlife, and it was a trip I will fondly remember. The drives are comfortable and exciting. We stayed for two nights, and my only regret is not staying longer. 3-4 nights would have been perfect. We loved the fact there was a rustic feel to the place without the readily available...

「Simply fantastic. Geiger is an amazing place, the staff is friendly and welcoming. Game drives were great, the Kruger is a beautiful place and the guide+trackers were very knowledgeable about the area and all the animals. Food was also really good. Hope to come back one day.」
