Nice staff but the room is really worn out and old fashioned. Has a really stupidly designed washroom, why on earth is the shower seperated from the room through a slightly blurry glass wall? It makes no sense.

Very good according to price and location

The Holiday Inn Express Tianjin Heping is located in downtown Tianjin. You can easily walk to the main shopping road (about 600 meters) and you have a subway line right in the building (about 50 meters). The hotel is a standard Holiday Inn, with the standard rooms and the standard breakfast. The breakfast is included and consists of Chinese and Western breakfast, which is very convenient. The rooms are pretty big and the bathroom as well. The hotel could need some renovation at some places but overall it's in a good condition. The price is very good especially for the location. Other hotels in downtown Tianjin are much more expensive. The staff is nice and tries to be as helpful as possible, but the communication in English can be difficult at some points. But if the staff doesn't understand English, they try to use translation programs and you can always find a solution. The room service is done by robots so there is no need to complain about that in any kind of way. The room cleaning was done very thoughtfully. Overall the hotel is really good according to the price and location.

鞍山道駅A出口からすぐの場所に位置していて、かつ近隣にコンビニや食事処も豊富にあり、特に不自由を感じることなく過ごすことができました。 チェックイン時に喫煙可能な部屋を案内してくれて、愛煙家にとっては非常にありがたかったです。その他の案内も英語で親切に対応してくれて助かりました。 部屋も広くて、夜景もきれいで、いいホテルでした。

I had been loyal IHG customer for a while. This is the most disappointed stay I had. Obviously the room was not cleaned properly and the carpet smelled bad and dirty. This is not acceptable at this price. You could either pay more to a higher star hotel for a better service or pay less to a budget hotel to save money. The service level is similar to budget hotels.

地點理想，惟硬件有待改善。

整體來說還算可以，服務人員態度不錯，但在硬件方面有兩個地方需要有待改善：第一，水壓不夠！熱水只能間斷的流出，所以沐浴的時候有點糟糕；第二，床的質素。這家酒店的地點理想，有免費的停車場，也靠近地鐵站，早餐也非常豐富。
