"This place was great. Away from the crazy crowds of old town Hoi an, super clean, very well managed and maintained. Our room was big, very comfortable, with 2 rooms and 2 balconies overlooking the river, it was lovely. The bedding was super plush and comfy. The ac worked perfectly, room service was on point, house keeping was always accommodating and changed our towels and bedding every day we stayed (5 days). Breakfast is solid, traditional stuff plus a chef making special requests, we enjoyed it every day. We didn’t use the pools but they looked nice and clean and the gardens and common areas are very well kept. The hotel is a compound in a little island, on one side is the hotel, on the other is a mini area with restaurants, shops and a big auditorium where there is a show, you MUST go see the show! It was super cool, the production, the lighting and story telling were amazing. I suggest to take a car every time you want to go to town, you can walk or bike but it is a little far which is actually good since it’s away from the loudness and craziness of the tourist areas. The only thing I didn’t like was the bathroom in the room. It’s big and beautiful and very spacious, water pressure fantastic and the tub was excellent, however there is no door to separate the bathroom with the room and that was a little inconvenient for a group of 4, probably great for couples but if you are with a big group, you are better off getting a Villa and having multiple separate bathrooms!"
