「Non-smoking rooms were musky and smoky smelling. Allergies were activated from the moment I got there, had to take medication. This is a dated property, needs renovation. Jacuzzi was cold and pool was HOT! Breakfast was not as advertised. Kitchen area was dirty, cabinet door off the hinge, no waffles or cereal. Aside from that staff were very nice and accommodating. The price was unbelievable and now I know.」

「Steps are very dangerous as I didn’t know the bottom landing was so dangerous especially for my mother. Thermostat upstairs wouldn’t come on as it looks like it is not attached properly. The place is beautiful outside but overall not for me. 」

「Initial impression on arrival was not great. However once we got to our room and into our stay we were greatly satisfied. This is an older building and while it is very clean, it is somewhat dated. The elevator has a musty smell but our room was nice and clean and cozy. We had everything we needed. The breakfast was good even though they served exactly the same things all 4 days we were there. 「The hotel is in a great location in Dahlonega, and has historic character. Don’t expect it will be fancy. It has all that is needed for basics, in the great location.」

「The room that they have breakfast in is very small. The rooms are clean, but a little dated. The location is very close to the Dahlonega square. The pool looked very clean, although I did not use it. It seem to be a pretty quiet area at night. All in all, I would stay there again.」

「It was terrible from check in to the 4 day stay. No room service, no fresh towels, slow drainage in sink, no emptying garbage, people sat in cars to smoke so that’s all you smelled coming out of room. There was dried urine under toilet and dust/hair behind it. The bed was comfortable. Only reason we stayed cause there was no vacancies near by. We come every year. Will not be making anymore reservations.」
