"The location was good for visiting Kings Canyon NP since we couldn’t get reservations at Grant Village. The staff were great and check in was easy. They were friendly and helpful. The lodge had only been open for the season for a few days. Breakfast is included in room rate. However, it was pretty basic and they ran out of some items 30 minutes before mealtime was over with no replenishment and no one available to ask for additional items.
