Skuffende chauteau

Hyggeligt chauteau langt fra alting. Der står bar og restaurante, men det havde de valgt at lukke. Det betød at vi måtte kører 10 km. for at få aftensmad, da der ikke er nogle restauranter i nærheden. Havde vi vidst det, havde vi valgt et andet sted, at overnatte. Det var en skam, for stedet kunne havde været hyggeligt.

Très beau cadre Mais propreté plus que douteuse tasse sale dans la chambre salle de bain pas propre . La télé ne fonctionnait pas malgré la remarque à la réception. Et au chaude au bout de 15 à 20 mn a tirée de l’ezu .

Fabulous, peaceful place to stay

After a long drive from Calais, a perfect place to stay in the quiet of the countryside. A warm friendly welcome, spacious rooms, an excellent restaurant, even catering for my wife, vegetarian, and myself with a dairy product allergy. We had a great meal washed down with some good very local wine. We were so relaxed, we slept in by an hour more than usual

Country chateau on the way from Paris to Biarritz

Lovely stay at this rustic country chateau, reminiscent of an old winery or convent. The countryside around Thenac is quite beautiful and the setting is perfect. Room, service, and food were all excellent.
