"Room was clean and pet friendly. The room was a bit dated. The AC unit was loud and rumbled and vibrated when the thermostat kicked in. The shower fan did the same, but the stay was quiet and the town is quaint with a beautiful old bakery, post office and a great ice cream shop to treat yourself to a nice desert."

"The room was decorated nicely, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The location is downtown so very convenient to walk to stores, restaurants and the wharf. A very nice place to stay!"

"Place is a bit dingy - stale smell in halls (but, hey, it's an old historic hotel). Price a bit high for quality - friend's air conditioner held up by wooden boards. Lots of raucous drinking in bar below (but not rowdy or unpleasant). However, right downtown - next to fabulous restaurants - and possibly the friendliest, kindest staff we've ever encountered."
