Strandhotel staff were all very friendly and helpful during my stay, my room had a great beach view, and the breakfasts were great. Will definitely book again when in the area.

This is a beautiful old-fashioned hotel with a lovely breakfast available overlooking the North Sea. The staff members are cheery and very helpful. The beach area and the pier (definitely take a Ferris wheel ride) offer great dining options and fun for families.

We stayed in a family suite for a few nights in mid-May and would absolutely recommend this hotel. The room was spacious with a closed bedroom for children and a small kitchen nook with fridge and sink (no supplies provided). Breakfast was fantastic and included many options (the tiny jars of hagelslag were a tourists' dream!), and the self-serve beverage station in the charming Victorian lobby was among the best I've encountered (hot beverages, cold water, small treats). Steps from the beach and the tram station, would absolutely recommend.

Great stay, very quiet hotel overlooking the seafront and 2 minutes from the tram. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Loved being able to help myself to coffee throughout the day. Lots of character although single room was quite basic. No lift and stairs to second floor were quite steep. Will definitely stay again.

This is an stately hotel. Victorian. Full of paintings, furniture , decor from a bygone era. Stayed in a corner room with unobstructed view of the beach, from two large windows.Very comfortable, not fancy, just homey. The #9 tram stop is a 2 minute walk away. The building is old and the stairs to our room were around 45 steps, some very narrow , but doable, just pack light. Breakfast is good, advise taking it. The nearby tram makes trips in to The Hague for museums etc very easy. Charming.

Rooms are primarily at street level and very noisy. No air conditioning which required upper windows left open and transmitted outside noise inside. No air circulation in room, stuffy and tunnel feeling. Our room was only outside accessible and required entering through alternate exit to access hotel. Reception not manned all the time which precipitated in long waits for service. Not coming back.

Die Kaffeebar, die Aussicht, das Personal. Einfach wunderbar. Sauber und freundlich. Ich werde vin nun an mehrmals im Jahr hier übernachten! ACHTUNG: Personen oder Kofferaufzüge gibt es nicht. Mir hat das nichts ausgemacht. Aber für viele wird diese Info nützlich sein. Eine Klimaanlage gab es auch nicht. Aber, das hat mich nicht gestört. Ein Parkhaus gibt es direkt neben der Anlage. Unglaublich viele Cafés in der Nähe. Mir hat alles sehr gut gefallen 👍

Kamer netjes, elke dag schoonmaak wel wat kleine badkamer en geen lift aanwezig. Zaten op 2e etage dus flink trappen lopen. Ontbijt perfect, mooie locatie direct aan boulevard en strand! Zeer behulpzaam en aardig personeel !

Een heel leuk hotel op een supergoede locatie. Parkeren in de parkeergarage direct voor het hotel. Zeer vriendelijke receptioniste. Kamer met uitzicht op zee met heerlijke bedden. Ontbijtbuffet was uitgebreid en werd steeds aangevuld. Heerlijke dagen hier gehad.

Direkt am Wasser, überschaubare persönliche Unterkunft mit rustikalem Charme, ohne Fahrstuhl (mit Gehbehinderung ggf. schwierig) und schönem Blick vom Frühstücksraum und der Terrasse, bei Seeblickzimmer-Buchung natürlich auch vom Zimmer aus. Am Ende von Scheveningen, vor der Tür belebte Umgebung, aber innerhalb des Hotels ist es ruhig und ein toller Rückzugsort. Parken ist (wie in ganz Holland) teuer mit derzeit 30,00 €/Tag im öffentlichen Parkhaus vor der Tür. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
