We loved staying here! However, the rooms are dated which was not an issue for us as we enjoyed the quaintness of it all. If one thing could be changed we would request that families be in a separate area for dining, particularly in the evenings when you're wanting a quiet, romantic meal together.

This is one of my favorite hotels in all the world. Breakfast and dinner are outstanding. The ambience is lovely. The people are so nice. If you're looking for huge and glitzy this may not be for you. This is more like going home to visit your sweet family.

Wonderful staff and the restaurant as well as the proximity to the beach and Keukenhof was excellent. What stood out to me was how quiet this is situated in a Dutch neighborhood. I loved it.

Very charming exterior with lovely patio lounge access to the ocean but it rained and we did not hike. Brick hallway was musty smelling, no elevator, drab decor, ants around coffee maker.

We had excellent service by the front desk personnel and from our waiter, Amor, during our stay. The dining room presents well and the meals were excellent. The room in which we stayed showed many signs of wear over the years, and is in need of some renovation or even cosmetic attention. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well each night. The ability to rent e-bikes from the hotel was a big plus which we took advantage of, so that we could tour through the dunes and along the blooming tulip fields. Be sure to check out the binder with numerous bike routes that you can take if you choose to stay at this hotel.

Would not recommend. "non-smoking" property had ashtrays on every deck. No air-conditioning. Had to open deck door to get fresh air, which wasn't fresh as guests smoking on decks. Disgusting. Room was small and cramped, and hallways had unpleasant odor. Staff entered our room while Do Not Disturb sign was on door. Double room was 2 twin beds pushed together. Kept getting wedged between beds. Very disappointed.

Not at all what we‘ve been looking for

We have been in a couple of Fletcher Hotels in the last two years, some with great service and high quality, some with less but always more or less in line with the price for the individual arrangement. We did choose this one as it was quiet and not in the center. For 200€ a night - and I am in a lot of hotels due to business - I would have expected a top 4star location. To add, the 5star premium location in the center would only have been only 50€ additional per night. Unfortunately not this time. Rooms were small and at least partly quite old, the shielding for the bath tub has needed a replacement for some time, the door to the veranda had no security elements and the cussions for the outside chairs could be found in the flowers nearby - at least one, and the hotel surroundings have been neglected as well. Breakfast was at 17€ per person and day but both orange juice and pancakes where not refilled more than an hour before end of breakfast time, Not to mention that no staff was on the premises.

Voor de prijs viel het erg tegen. Hele kleine kamer met dito badkamer. Erg verouderd. Onze douche werkte niet goed. Het water werd bij tussenpozen heel heet terwijl je de temperatuur goed had ingesteld. Gewoon gevaarlijk. Wel vriendelijk bediening. Keuze voor het diner erg beperkt en weinig of geen groente erbij. Ontbijtbuffet was goed. Omgeving is heel mooi. Conclusie is slechte prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Eetgelegenheid was oké, eten was lekker. Hotel is erg gedateerd en weinig onderhoud gehad. Spinnen op het badkamer plafond, plafond van balkon lijkt ook al heel lang niet schoongemaakt veel insecten en spinnen.

Hotel ist stark renovierungsbedürftig - alles veraltet und nicht gewartet. Die Sauberkeit in allen Räumlichkeiten war kathastrophal. Gereinigt wurde teilweise nur nach Aufforderung. Frühstück war sehr einfach, nicht abwechslungsreich. Für uns passt das Preisleistungsverhältnis in keinster Weise. Schön wäre es gewesen wenn man sich hätte auf Deutsch verständigen können. Wir empfehlen das Hotel nicht weiter und werden auch nicht mehr buchen. Positive Bewertungen können wir nicht nachvollziehen.
