「The staff is super friendly. The little store in the lobby conveniently sells drinks including beer and wine. We grabbed a couple of drinks and sat out by the fire pit. Good breakfast. Comfy bed. Very nice, newly rooms. 」

「We have stayed at the inn before several years back, and decided to stay again. We love the historic look of the Balsam mountain Inn, we learned that it changed ownership a few years back and the new owners are looking to preserve the classic look that appeals to everyone so much. They want to keep it as original as possible which is great, the down side of that is they removed the window units from the rooms.
