Tham Chiang Dao Tours

The entrance to Chiang Dao Cave is surrounded by Buddhist symbols and crystal clear blue waters filled with rather large koi and catfish.

The entrance fee for the caves is 40 baht, but i recommend hiring a guide with a lantern to take you a bit deeper into this amazing place. A guide currently costs 200baht (plus tip) and is worth every bit of it. Watch your head and step!

This stunning temple is located primarily inside a sprawling cave system. Visitors may walk along a lighted path alone or venture into the abyssal recesses with a Thai guide and a lantern. If you want to take photos inside, don't forget your tripod.

My wife and I were here for a week on our honeymoon and the staff and food was excellent. Everyone was so nice and friendly, as well as accommodating to our needs if we needed anything. Chaing Mai Airport Plaza and Kad Manee Market are close by and it’s easy for a Grab pickup at the hotel. I highly recommend and would love to come back if we are ever back in Chiang Mai!!
