「I spent a week in a Queen room at Kavil Guesthouse in early November 2025. The room was good sized, with a comfortable bed and good-quality sheets and towels. Everything worked as it should, like the A/C, Wi-Fi, hot water, etc. I particularly appreciate the drinking water available for guests to fill our water bottles, and an in-room wall-mounted fan to supplement the A/C. 「I chose Makka Hotel because of it is just ~500m away from Tha Phae Gate where the Chiang Mai Marathon starts & ends (as well as where to pick up the runner's pack). The city is small, 30 min walking from Tha Phae Gate can go to most of the hot-spots inside the city. I had a pleasant 4D3N stay (Fri to Mon) in Makka; night markets, coffee shops & restaurants are everywhere.」

「Good location, nice pool and room. The room is quite big, and located at a quite street, where has not much traffic. I had a lovely 4 nights stay, the aircon is a bit noisy, but with my earplug is fine for me. There is no breakfast service in the hotel, but you can easily find breakfast near by. the X bar at the hotel has reasonable price and very friendly vibe, we visit there so often to watch sport match and play pool table. Good hotel and I will come back again.」

「這家旅舍在古城中心的後街,在星期日市集的主街後一條街,旺中帶靜,距離東門的塔佩門很近,地點優越. 至於室內設施,雪櫃及冷氣都很給力,是非常少有的,對清邁這個那麼熱的城市來說實在是太重要了. 另外,早餐是專人即整的西式早餐,雖不算是甚麼名貴的食材,但心機及即叫即整卻令人窩心. 推薦的選擇. 」

「Location is excellent, room is big and very clean. Breakfast is ok although not many varieties. The small swimming pool is a good place to spend an hour during the hot temperatures time in the mid day period. Room price is very compatible」
