Texarkana is like most towns, it has good parts and bad parts. Lots of fresh new places to shop and dine. We were in town for a show at the Perot Theatre which is gorgeous.

Couldn't find any souvenir shops and downtown was fairly rundown with abandoned businesses and stuff. But the Courthouse grounds were neat, and The Rabbit Hole Coffee Shop was nice.

A surprisingly quiet city. Found a delightful coffee shop (the Alley Cat) and a great place for food and drinks: Pecan Point
