Mycket bra hotell om man inte har bil

Perfekt läge vid järnvägsstationen och gångavstånd till stadskärnan. Lite slitet, fuktskada i vårt rum. Drog ner att frukosten var nästan tom när vi kom vid 8-tiden en söndagsmorgon. Hann tyvärr ej prova spaet men det vore en fin service. Mycket hjälpsam personal.

Recently stayed at Hotel Michelangelo Palace in Terni, and my experience was largely positive. Here’s a breakdown of my stay:Location: The hotel is conveniently located right across from the train station, making it easily accessible for travelers arriving by train. It’s also a great base for exploring the beautiful Umbria region.Accommodation: My room was spacious and clean, featuring modern amenities that made for a comfortable stay. While the decor felt a bit dated, the room was well-maintained. The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep after exploring the city.Facilities: One of the highlights was the wellness area. I enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools, which were perfect for relaxation. The gym was adequately equipped, and the rooftop terrace restaurant offered stunning views along with delicious Umbrian cuisine. Breakfast was a treat, with a variety of options catering to both sweet and savory tastes.Service: The staff at Michelangelo Palace were incredibly friendly and attentive. From the check-in process to any requests I had during my stay, everyone was professional and eager to help, which enhanced the overall experience.Area for Improvement: Although my stay was enjoyable, the hotel could benefit from updating some of its decor to make the ambiance feel fresher. Hotellet ligger lätt åtkomligt med bil när man kommer från Rom och ska jobba i Terni. Gratis rymlig parkeringsplats i direkt anslutning till hotellentrén är en stor fördel. Språkkunskaperna utöver Italienska är sparsamma. Coronarestriktionerna gör troligtvis inte frukosten och övrig service/utbud rättvisa.

Una notte piuttosto corta

La struttura è un quattro stelle con qualche anno sulle spalle ma ancora abbastanza in ordine. Si trova giusto di fronte alla stazione e ha un parcheggio sotterraneo. Prima di cena abbiamo provato ad andare in piscina scendendo dalla camera vestiti, con costumi e teli in una borsa, ma la piscina non dispone né di bagno né di spogliatoi. Dopo cena e fino a oltre mezzanotte le pareti della stanza hanno rimbombato di musica da discoteca di cui ignoriamo la provenienza. La mattina seguente poco dopo le 7:00 sono iniziati i lavori di giardinaggio e di taglio dell'erba dell'hotel proprio sotto alle nostre finestre. Forse siamo capitati in uno dei giorni meno felici per la struttura.

La struttura è un po’ datata e purtroppo al mio arrivo l’acqua calda non funzionava, poi ripristinata per la tarda serata. L’ubicazione è interessante ed il parcheggio comodo. Il personale è cordiale e la colazione di livello standard.
