"Great location in central Arras. Our room was on the 2nd floor but we could only take the lift to the first floor and then had to walk up a flight of stairs. The room was very comfortable however we were surprised that we had to request for the room to be cleaned on a day to day basis, so if we didn’t ask the bin was not emptied and coffee and tea were not replenished. This is not the level of service that we would expect from a hotel claiming to be 4star. We had pre booked parking which was fine for the first 3 nights but on the fourth night all spaces were filled. Luckily they were able to squeeze us on to a paved area. Breakfast was adequate but a limited choice."

"Very quaint hotel on a property over five hundred years old cantered in Arras central square. The room we had lots of character with exposed timbers. The buffet breakfast was a good deal- all you can eat for 13 euros. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby."

"Breakfast okay. Hard to find underground parking also hotel entrance Room seemed very dark and small, cleaning good but could have been better. I wouldn’t stay again, hotel showing its age not the staff"

"The building is impressive, our room was large and clean. There were nice touches such as slippers, bath robes and toiletries. The lounge areas were deserted on the first day of our stay , giving the whole place the ambiance of a museum. The following day saw an influx of guests and the life of the place lifted considerably. There are cards and board games available but you needed to ask as nothing is offered. Breakfast was confusing, there was a standard and uninspiring continental breakfast but we were not told that there were hot food options on request. The opening times for the restaurants are rather limited with only the distillery restaurant available during our stay. The food at the restaurant was good but the menu was the same for lunch as well as dinner. We had been looking forward to walking around the garden which looks impressive in the hotel details. Unfortunately the garden and the tennis courts were, as a earlier review mentioned , rather tired and unmaintained. We cut our stay short."

"Budget hotel, so quite basic. Room was clean and bed comfortable. We chose it because of its parking and position on the outskirts of Arras."
