「The hotel was nice although lacking a dinner restaurant. The pool was in need of a new liner as you could feel it lift up many inches from bottom as you walked. Terrible ant problem that we notified staff about but problem persisted. Ants were covering everything within a few hours of setting things down. 「As many reviews have stated, the hotel is dated and definitely beyond its prime. The location is nice and close to Angra, the breakfast buffet is okay, the pool is nice for families (not ideal for a couple or romantic getaway), and the views are great. The hotel needs upgrades and quite literally has a "if you need repairs, call this number" in the bathroom, yikes.
