After reading some negative reviews about Bluestone I was wondering what I was in for. I was pleasantly surprised to find a tidy, a bit dated but slightly renovated room. It didn’t smell and the on site restaurant was convenient and was pretty good. Breakfast was also pretty good.

Comfortable bed, aircon working very well, also liked having the ceiling fan. Everything was clean and functioning properly. Tiled floor felt nicer than the carpets you find in some places that feel a bit worn or dirty. Quite a nice sized room, definitely not pokey. Great having the dining table & chairs & still felt spacious.

The room was very clean and well laid out. Staff were friendly and courteous. The room itself had some minor damage to interior walls, but that did not have any impact or adverse effect on our stay there. We were overall very happy with the location and facilities.

Arrived early enough and there was no restaurant in a Saturday night. Early on Sunday morning, no restaurant, not even coffee or any staff. Room had very bad chairs and barely a coffee table. Hot as hell…air con helped after 4 or 5 hours working constantly. I stayed there before, used to be better.

Great choice in town

We enjoyed our stay in this safe and clean motel. The restaurant was very good and even provided take-away meals so that we could utilise outdoor facilities. The overall service was excellent only marred by delayed check-in due to staff shortages.
