Really first class. Wonderful and helpful staff with great facilities in a beautiful hotel. My only complaint is that I found it almost impossible to book the hotel restaurants. And some great local beaches nearby.

Bene,ma non benissimo! Resort bellissimo e personale gentilissimo. Formula All Inclusive peggiore che abbia mai vissuto,app che non funziona e per avere l’informazione giusta su una cosa abbiamo dovuto chiedere 3/4 volte.Ognuno ti diceva la sua che poi si rivelava non esatta. Hanno molto su cui lavorare. Se dovessi tornare a Tenerife non credo che tornerei in questo hotel. E mi spiace perché il personale e’ il piu’ cordiale e gentile mai incontrato,ma ci sono troppe cose che non vanno! Sorry

Another lovely stay in Gran Melia
Another lovely stay in Gran Melia. A welcome drink was offered on arrival which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travelling. We enjoyed a fabulous breakfast every morning in the beautiful plaza. We were made feel very welcome by all hotel staff. Every visit we enjoy the evening entertainment. Room has everthing you need and very comfortable bed. The only negative - please consider mattress toppers/pads for the sun loungers as they are not very comfortable!

The hotel and grounds are beautifully maintained, with lovely garden areas. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The food in the restaurants, including the buffet style restaurant, is 5 star throughout. I think they have every cuisine you could possibly want and the quality is top notch. The only negative I can think of is that the evening bar service can be slow, but that’s not because of the staff. They are working hard to keep up, but the ratio of customers to bar staff wasn’t quite right, which often lead to lots of people waiting to be served. That said, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Would never recommend
More like a 3 star all inclusive hotel where everything is so run down, service is rubbish, you have to queue up for an hour to either have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Room was missing furniture, no table Or chairs. Honestly the worst hotel I’ve stayed at, very low class.

Commençons par le moins bien, cela ira vite : il faut aimer la musique !! Omniprésente (même au petit déjeuner) et souvent trop forte. Transats peu confortables (on sent les barres sous la toile). Pas écolo du tout : changement des draps et serviettes tous les jours, ça c'est vraiment nullissime. Sinon, hôtel magnifique, peut-être le plus beau que nous ayons fait. Animations du soir en général de qualité. Piscine d'eau de mer GIGANTESQUE et superbe. Personnel hyper pro et sympa. Propreté irréprochable. Chambres grandes et tout confort (2 oreillers avec moelleux/fermeté différents). En prime, on y profite des couchers de soleil avec la piscine en 1er plan, la mer en 2nd...c'est de toute beauté !!

Superbe hôtel, piscine fantastique, personnels des restaurants très professionnels et aimables, mais le service n'était pas à la hauteur d'un 5 étoiles. Supplément "vue sur mer" : notre chambre donnait sur un mur. Il fallait être sur le balcon et proche du mur pour voir la mer. Heureusement, nous avons pu changer de chambre et avoir un balcon en fer forgé permettant de voir vraiment le paysage. Bouteille d'eau minérale quotidienne en chambre payante pour les séjours en demi-pension SPA payant (80€ les 90 mn pour un couple) Piscine adulte : pas toujours quelqu'un au "pool conciergerie" pour vous donner une serviette ou vous rendre votre carte serviette Il devrait être mis en évidence sur le site qu'en demi-pension, plein de services ne sont pas inclus (parking à 12€ par jour, boissons des repas même l'eau, Spa, totalité des restaurants hors buffet). Le cadre est exceptionnel mais mauvais rapport qualité/prix

Nous avions une chambre avec vue latérale mer et piscine ce qui correspondait bien avec la description faite sur le site de l'hôtel. En retrait des zones touristiques il apporte la sérénité, l'hôtel est suffisamment grand et offre beaucoup d'espaces pour tous. La restauration est parfaite, d'une qualité bien supérieure ce qui justifie largement son prix. Le personnel est attentif est d'une forte amabilité.

A depressing experience
Rooms smell from mold. I asked to get a better room. The hotel charged me 30 euro per night for an upgrade and gave me a room close to room 510 which is being renovated with drilling terrible noise every day until 6pm. After I complained We were upgraded to a good room but I had to pack everything and move. Food is not tasty at all. You get one free bottle of water in your room at the first day. No place to fill up water. You have to buy water at the hotel and it’s expensive. Big conferences guests -get priority. Red level guests gets priority. You constantly feel like second best in every aspect-unless you belong to those groups. Main swimming pool is huge and with salty water but it didn’t look clean to me My daughter had to move 3 times to 3 different rooms and never got a smell free room. She also paid for an upgrade. When you move a room the front desk promise to make sure your suitcase will be moved to the new room. My daughter. waited about 2 hours in her room for her staff and only at 7:30 pm got them after many requests and arguments with front desk guy. I felt that nobody really cares about the well-being of the regular clients and the only aim of the staff is getting more money from the clients . The impressive high ceilings , plastic sofas, white suits of the staff could not make us feel better. We were waiting for the moment to get out from this hotel.

Se supone que era pet friendly, llame para confirmar, al llegar me dijeron que podiamos estar con los perros en la piscina pero cuando fuimos el día domingo no nos dejaron estar! He puesto una hoja de reclamaciones, muy enfada con el hotel. En la foto se ve que no prohiben la piscina

Please read before booking this hotel
Very Disappointing stay, some staff were very rude. Every single meal requires booking a reservation, which is frustrating to have to schedule your entire day around eating. Water leaked through our ceiling into our room. Mini bar re stocking staff would enter into the room without knocking! Our little girl had a glass water bottle dropped over her in the restaurant L’olio ( no one came over to assist or offer towels to dry our 5 year old girl, they simply cleaned the smashed glass on the floor & left) In the evening if you don’t get to the plaza early and get a table you will struggle to order a drink! (Table service only) With our all inclusive package we was lucky to get 2 drinks in the evening. For an all inclusive package there was a lot of supplemental charges ( very clever from the hotel business perspective & certainly not for the consumer!) The only positive, the food was great a credit to the chefs! However would not visit again in the future!

The facilities were very good and the food was also excellent. However, whilst some of the staff were friendly and helpful, a lot were not. We paid for all inclusive and it was anything but - meal times were awkward for children and you couldn’t get food unless you paid extra at different times. So many items of drinks and food were ‘pay extra’ that it was more like a full board offering than all inclusive.

L'hôtel est formidable tout est en place pour que l'on s'y sente bien et détendu. Le personnel est merveilleux toujours aux petits soins.

I have been to the hotel many times with family and really had a great time. This time the hotel was overall very disappointing. Food was terrible and over priced. We ordered a Jack Daniel's coke which was £27. Tell me where you found this over £15 max. Didn't even give our money back Won't be going back. Rude staff Disgrace
