The location is fantastic, close to the beach restaurants and shops. The room was clean and cozy, perfect for one person. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. I’d highly recommend to anyone looking for a great stay on a budget.

short but nice stay at Maxim!

Easy check in (as super late as it was - but the front desk was as friendly as could be). Good AC, tasty breakfast, and oh so close to the beach. Great views from the rooftop terrace as well.

The room was small, but perfectly adequate and very clean. Rooftop deck has great view of the beach and was a great place to take the complimentary happy-hour glass(es) of wine to watch the sunset. Included breakfast was good. Parking is free, but only ~10 spaces under the building. We always found a space, but perhaps more iffy during a busier time of year.

This property hosts a lot of volunteers that come to help Israel in time of need. The guests create a special bond and discuss volunteering opportunities. There is a happy hour - where you get a bowl of soup snd wine and socialise. Breakfast is also very good

If you combine location, condition of the hotel, staff, amenities, and price, the Maxim has to rank among the best values in hotels. Two notable features of the hotel include the roof top that is beautifully designed and maintained with wonderful views of the Mediterranean. And The dining room which is highly conducive to meeting other guests. We shared experiences and often arranged day trips/activities together. All the people I know who stayed at the Maxim were unexpectedly surprised at how much it enhanced our stay in Israel.
