We loved the hotel. The location was great and plenty of parking spots. The room was clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. The windows overlooked the restaurant but it was not that loud. The breakfast was great many options to chose from. There was no coffee maker in the room.

The location was good; however, the room had outdated decor and an unpleasant odor. It was impossible to sleep throughout the night due to an annoying noise resembling a deep mechanical hum. Additionally, the bathroom did not have a shower curtain, which made it impossible to shower without water spilling outside the bathroom. Breakfast was alright. In my opinion it is not worth the price to stay at this place.

The room was fine. Bed was comfortable. Housekeeping was lax. Front desk staff were courteous. And maybe it’s an American thing but why did I have to leave the hotel and go to their next door restaurant to get ice? Then you have to hassle with the restaurant staff to get some? Breakfasts were good but don’t even think about taking a cup of coffee back to your room unless you pay an additional $5. The common areas of the hotel were drab and so not fitting with the beautiful country. I’ll be back to Te Anau but I’ll work hard to find different accommodation.

Lackluster, drab hotel. Room was on first floor looking out at parking lot. Strange things like door being hard to open/close because rubbed on below carpet, thermostat that required a college degree to figure out, a strange luminescent blue light under the bathroom sink, no luggage stand, cold lighting throughout the room, switches in weird spots. Breakfast very average. I should have asked for a room with a better view

As usual the staff and hotel were awesome especially as the power in Te Anau had been off for over 24hrsdue to the storms and just came back on as we arrived. They were fantastic under pressure. A+++ to all at the hotel.

We had three night here and while the room was clean, comfortable and spacious it was very dated. The whole hotel felt a little old. For the nightly price they are charging I would have expected something a little more modern.
