Great hotel in a great city

Loved this hotel, loved the city. Central location, nice comfy room, fabulous breakfast. We stayed for dinner one evening (excellent food) and also purchased a bottle of their wine to take away. Wholeheartedly recommend this as a place to stay

The hotel does not have any laundry facilities and service even though Expedia indicates it has both the laundry facility and the laundry service. We trusted Expedia and made a mistake to count on the laundry. Expedia should update its website accordingly.

Stay here only if you want to ruin your trip.

One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. We stayed at Hotel Badagoni Rustaveli, Tbilisi, and on the second night the air-conditioning completely broke down. From 10 p.m. onward, I kept calling reception again and again, and every single time they kept lying that it would be fixed in “10–15 minutes.” Hours went by, and nothing was ever done. I even asked for a room change or to be moved to another hotel, but they flat-out refused. To make things worse, the windows in the room cannot be opened because of safety restrictions, so the room turned into a suffocating box for me and my wife. After a long day of travel and with an early morning trip booked, this left us exhausted, angry, and completely disappointed. This was not just bad service — it was negligence. The staff made false promises, offered no real solution, and clearly didn’t care about guest comfort. For the price they charge, this level of incompetence is shocking. Stay here only if you want to ruin your trip.

DISHONEST HOTEL DOUBLE CHARGED ME!!

When I checked in the staff asked me to pay upfront which I thought was odd. Come to find out I had paid through Hotels.com. Therefore I paid twice. I spoke to a manager, said she would speak the bank refund me the amount I paid directly to the hotel and I should see a credit in 3-5 business days. I has been three weeks and nothing has been credited, There has been no follow up on the hotels behalf. I would not suggest this hotel, they are dishonest and have overcharged me.

This place has a super location, and we loved the restaurant downstairs. Great breakfasts too. However, I would never want to stay here again because the air conditioning in the room was almost nonexistent. Towards the end of our stay here we took to opening the door to the hallway all night long to let in some A/C from the rest of the building. Tbilisi gets very hot in August, and good AirCon is essential. We brought this up with hotel staff, but were told there was nothing they could do. Also, the narrow bathroom, awkward steps to the toilet, and the poor screen door to the shower (very European style) resulted in some slippery and frankly dangerous restroom situations.
