It was ok for basic needs but overpriced for the type of room, breakfast bar was really basic, coffee/water machine turned off by 10pm and the property could definitely use some freshening up. Front desk Staff was pleasant. Hallways and eating area air temperature was not comfortable and had a musty odor.

Ok for one night. Everything in line for what you pay. Breakfast is very basic. Did get a lot of traffic noise until later in the evening. Could smell the pool / hot tub chemicals in the common areas…little annoying. Bedding and linens comfortable. Good tv with a good list of channels.

Stayed a couple nights for work and enjoyed my time here. It's quiet in the Winter, but I imagine they're busier in the Summer. If I need to stay in Tawas City again the Bay Inn will be my first choice.

I stayed there in the winter. It looked like the side door entrance had never been shoveled. Even when there are three "employees" sitting on the couch watching TV. Grab a shovel and a cup of salt and do something.
