Cool retro vibe and great place! Upstairs suite was perfect with the view and the outdoor seating.Close to all the restaurants and shops and art walk. Really nice place. Free laundry available was definitely a great bonus!

The shower wasn’t clean and empty shampoo and gel bottle still in the shower. Coffee/tea container was filthy, coffee spilt on bench so the feel of the place was not clean. Bed was ok but not made properly, no sheets were tucked in, just loose laid. Would not stay here again. The positive was that the restaurant at the front was great, lovely food and good friendly service but not the same owners as the motel.

Staff were lovely. Room looked nice but needed a deeper clean, dust under bed, marks on walls and some of the bedding. No kitchenette sink so washing cups in bathroom sink. Ironing board but no iron. It wasn't terrible but just lacked attention to detail

Some milk for a cuppa and some soap to wash hands (there was only a small body wash) would be good. These are basics.There was mold in the bathroom and no shelf in the shower or bathroom, so either use the floor or toilet seat! Noisy at night from restaurant kitchen. It was clean.

The room was tired, and was not seviced while we were there and for the last 18 hours of our stay we were without an adequate water supply due to inefficient water storage facilities. The police had to be called at 4am due to neighbours loud arguing and when we asked for some sort of compensation but was told we could receive a discount on the next stay.I was promised a phone call after the directors were informed but did not receive one. We would never again stay at Twin Peaks Taupo, even if you paid me.

We had a quick overnight stay as we were travelling south. The room was clean and well appointed. Plenty of hot water and the location close to the Jolly Good Fellows restaurant and bar was perfect for dinner. The staff were very engaging yet gave us a level of privacy.

Everythin was clean andcwell presented. Did have a small issue as my daughter who isv7 months pregnant could not come af last minute and could not get acrefund on her accomodatio. Do understand it was last minute.

Clean, well presented and comfortable kitchen/living/sleeping area. Bathroom had also been modernised except for the shower which was in need or refreshment and shower mixer tap was difficult to set the water temperature. Restaurant/ bar on site was very convenient and convivial, with a great veiw of sunset over the lake.
