Love the private mineral pools, the reason why we choose to stay here when in Taupo… so relaxing. The staff are also friendly and helpful. Also love the garden, very cute.

The property had very nice gardens and was just a short drive to downtown. The host was very attentive and very thorough, in showing us all the amenities. Very easy Check-In & Check-out. I would recommend the Phoenix Resort.

The location was ideal since we had our bicycles. Really nice and close to the lake front trail and nice easy parking in the back. The Hot Mineral bath was nice after a days ride.

We were so impressed with this wonderful accommodation. It was spotlessly clean and the shower pressure was INCREDIBLE!!! The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly need and all of the beds were very comfortable. We’ve stayed in Taupo many times over the years but the Phoenix will always be our first choice from now on.

Delightful

Great place to stay near town centre. Room was well appointed but as we were at the far end of the resort, Wifi was limited but not the end of the world. Lots of facilities to use if we had the time.
