A great place to stay. Warm including underfloor heating in winter. Nice Thai Restaurant on the property. Good bed, great shower. TV controls sometimes did not work. Easy walk into the shops and entertainment area. This will be my go to stay in future visits to Taupo.

Reception was lovely and polite. She was kind enough to give out her recommendations on what we can do in Taupo and Rotorua. We were guided well by her suggestions as we had nothing planned for this trip! Accommodation was of good value for money too. Location was walkable to many good restaurants. Glad we were able to book last minute because as soon as we arrived Taupo, everywhere else were fully booked.

Room is consisted of a bedroom and lounge area/ third bathroom. Large space but tired looking. Great location, close to the main bars, restaurants and lake. Be warned, reception closes at 8pm and arrivals after this time are treated as no shows.

The owner Ron is a great proprietor; he is so helpful in sharing information re Taupo and things to do. Rooms are immaculate and are cleaned with utmost pride daily. This may have been my 3rd visit in last 10 years and will continue to see lodging there on future trips.

Parking was good it was clean and tidy, rooms clean and it was very handy to town center,Everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and help full and the owner took an interest in you as a person and always checked to see if everything was ok.. thanks for a lovely stay I would recomend anyone to stay there

little more fridge space would be amazing. Otherwise very good set up and amenities in room. spacious with two double beds and large bathroom. provided secure room to keep bikes which was very helpful. given the number of cyclists/triathletes to the area it's probably worth asking on check-in if people have bikes, as like others we didn't read the full guide in the room.

The lodge was ok to stay for 2 nights. No complains. They dont have aircon in the bedroom and leaving windows open during nights is an invite to flying insects. Overall ok to stay.
