Reception was lovely and polite. She was kind enough to give out her recommendations on what we can do in Taupo and Rotorua. We were guided well by her suggestions as we had nothing planned for this trip! Accommodation was of good value for money too. Location was walkable to many good restaurants. Glad we were able to book last minute because as soon as we arrived Taupo, everywhere else were fully booked.

A great place to stay. Warm including underfloor heating in winter. Nice Thai Restaurant on the property. Good bed, great shower. TV controls sometimes did not work. Easy walk into the shops and entertainment area. This will be my go to stay in future visits to Taupo.

A great accomodation, close to Taupō town centre. Clean, comfortable rooms with everything you need for a restful stay for a few nights. We stopped off for one night on our journey from Auckland to Wellington, and then did the same on the way back a week later because we enjoyed our stay so much. Will be back for sure.

Room is consisted of a bedroom and lounge area/ third bathroom. Large space but tired looking. Great location, close to the main bars, restaurants and lake. Be warned, reception closes at 8pm and arrivals after this time are treated as no shows.

The toilet smelled of uri e in our room. The bathrooms are old and I think the urine smell could be in the tiles.
