「A great overnight after a long hike down. Food was amazing, good portions. Lots of options to buy extra drinks. Beautiful balcony to sit out and enjoy the canyon. Staff were organized, helpful, despite us not speaking Spanish and they having little English.」

「Overall it was good experience to stay in Colca lodge especially the thermal bath so close to natural. The room I stayed with water leakage from ceiling which need to be fixed 」

「Great place to stay!」

「All of the nice things said by other reviewers about this place are absolutely true. It is a nice facility, the service is top Notch and the on-site restaurant is absolutely fantastic. The only negatives during our stay were a shower that would only get lukewarm and Wi-Fi that was always less than one Mbps. Note that this little town is over 11,000 ft. elevation, so be prepared for the high altitude.」

「Económico, confortable, cerca al pueblo」

「The worst “hotel” imaginable. Staff have no idea what they’re doing. No wifi (i mean who needs wifi). I was told to be ready at 6 am sharp for transport to the city. It never came. The hotel reception said that in Peru when we say 6 am we really mean 7 am. Unbelievable. I only woke up at 5 am and was there 15 minutes early. I had to hitch a ride with another couple’s driver (pure luck) to get to the city, My driver is still probably on his way. The worst part is in my haste I left behind my hat....
