Excellent stay at this newly renovated hotel. Less than a km walk to the dunes from the property (it’s at the edge). You can get a great sunrise view from the hotel front entrance and the terrace plus swimming pool area. Staff were super nice and always received us with smile. Highly recommended if you are looking for a Riad/hotel like experience instead of a tent within the desert .

Hôtel avec un très bel emplacement, avec une vue exceptionnelle face aux dunes du désert. Les matériaux et le mobilier ainsi que la décoration des lieux communs et des chambres sont superbes. Les piscines avec vue sur les dunes et transats très confortables sont vraiment très agréables. Seul point décevant, la nourriture au dîner et même au petit déjeuner. Tout est très basique, cuisine internationale ordinaire et sans saveur, dommage dans un pays où on mange si bien !

It was a great positive surprise upon arrival. Beautiful modern rooms, amazing views and facilities, but above all, the staff and service was outstanding, we felt like home. Can't think of a better place to stay to enjoy the desert. Our kids loved having the camels "across the street".

An Arabian Nights Dream at the Edge of the Dunes If you are traveling to Merzouga, skip the generic resorts and stay at Nasser Palace. This isn't just a hotel; it’s an authentic gateway to the Sahara. Located in Hassilabied, right at the foot of the Erg Chebbi dunes, it offers an experience that feels like stepping into a movie set. The Vibe: The architecture is stunning—a traditional artisanal kasbah with beautiful carvings and a sprawling central patio. Whether you’re lounging by the emerald-green pool or sitting on the terrace watching the sunrise over the sand, the "Arabian Nights" atmosphere is everywhere. The Desert Experience: They are experts at desert logistics. We did the camel trek into the dunes for sunset, and it was seamless. They also offer 4x4 adventures and sandboarding. Being only a 1-minute walk from the dunes means you can wander out to see the stars whenever you like. The Food: The kitchen here is incredible. Breakfast was amazing, they also serve lunch and dinner. Authentic Wellness: After a dusty day in the desert, the Beldi Spa and Hammam were a godsend. They even offer traditional sand therapy (Sablothérapie) during the summer months, which is a unique local experience you won't find at many other places. Exceptional Hospitality: The staff, led by Lehsen and El Bashir the manager, go above and beyond.

A fantastic hotel in the heart of the desert, with breathtaking views of the Sahara Sand Dunes. Sitting on the hotel porch and taking in the spectacular dunes was an absolute delight and truly one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the chef went above and beyond to prepare both lunch and dinner according to our needs. The food was absolutely delicious and added to an already wonderful experience. The rooms were beautifully designed, tastefully furnished, and surprisingly luxurious. We also loved the hotel’s architecture, which blends beautifully with the surrounding desert landscape and creates a genuine sense of connection with nature. Overall, this was a memorable and unique stay, and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our experience.

This place has an amazing Energy , although the weather was windy , there’s a lot of activities indoors to be done , u can just relax by the pool , there is a whole lounge inside where you can just chill and watch movies , food was exquisite . The mix between traditional Moroccan food and international cuisine is an amazing experience for tourists . I would definitely visit this place again.

Fue una experiencia increíble. La gente fue encantadora y el lugar parecía sacado de un cuento de hadas: un castillo entre las dunas. Me sentí como la protagonista de una historia de amor en el Sahara. Es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de una estancia inolvidable. El lujo en el desierto definitivamente merece mucha más atención; está muy infravalorado. Sin duda volvería con mi familia.
