「Kambi Mstuni is a great resort with friendly staff and beautiful gardens. The restaurant serves great food too. Will highly recommended it if you’re traveling to the Laikipia/Aberdares area. Will only ask the management to do regular maintenance to the murram road that connects it with the main road on the Makutano side since it’s a little rough to drive there when it has rained due to many potholes on it. Otherwise not a bad place to rewind despite the distance from the main road. 」

「It’s impossible to find fault with our stay at Mutara Camp. Our party of three had a car accident on the way, and Dido and Lilomo drove out at night to Rumuruti to pick two of us up - an hour each way on bad roads. The chef had stayed up to cook us a hot meal when we arrived after 11pm, which was very welcome. 「Kimakia Tea Houses are situated in a stunning landscape with views to the tea plantations and surrounded by nature and birds. Gabriel hosted our stay and is a wonderful and kind person, we loved meeting him and Noemi. The access to the houses is steep and 4x4 wheel drive needed, but it is more than worth the treck. 」
