"Stella and her family have been wonderful hosts. The room is a bit run down and a big gap between the roof and bathroom wall. So we had mosquitos at night. We had lunch and dinner at the resort for the entire time that we stayed in Tanna Island. Stella is a great cook! We had a bad experience with the driver who took us to the volcano from Amutia. "Lovely view of the volcano from the bed, watching the plume puffs during the day and the glow at night, as well as hearing the rumbling. Quite isolated, but the hosts provide all the transport you need, for a fee, which ended up being about twice the cost of the accommodation booked online, including to and from the airport.
