Comfortable stay however, bedrooms need updating.

Airport transport was great and organised by Doha. However I did have to phone the hotel directly 3 times before getting in contact with Doha as the messaging service was not good. Reception staff - helpful and polite. Reception/lounge area very nice and comfortable. Pool area - great and lots of fun. Clean too. Breakfast - Good options, however staff very slow in preparing items and topping items up. Bedroom - Did not like the layout at all. Sink in bedroom rather than part of toilet and shower. Odd design - no privacy really when you are staying with others. However, bedroom cleaned every day. A/C and fridge in room - old and barely worked. Often hot in room.

Property is nice, rooms are sensible and clean. However their charges for any additional service are a complete rip off. And their service is dreadful. For example, they wouldn’t call us a taxi to go to the airport. They offered their shuttle instead at 5x the price!! Also we arrived early at the hotel, and, even though the room was ready, they wanted to charge by the hour for early check in. They charged full price for the breakfast buffet, but when we had breakfast at 9 am, most of the hot dishes were empty. Ridiculous.

Swimming pool has very slippery floors, not cleaned, now lounge towels available both days and opened 20+ minutes after advertised open times today….. Room layouts are weird with wash basin in the middle, shower floors slippery too and caused me to slip up. Breakfast there is annoying, you press flat white or cappuccino and the machines give you hot chocolate….. also the toaster it terrible (it takes about 10 minutes to toast 2 slices of white bread (no exaggeration) 👎 Definitely not enough customer parking and staff need to learn more customer service for sure. I’d never go back, not worth the price at all.

Overall as a single solo female traveller it was a great place to stay. I was disappointed in their service, being a highly rated restaurant their cc machines didn’t work. So I had use cash which I was limited on. I asked for room service (food menu). I waited for almost an hour and then I had to call again to ask. I ordered and then when the food arrived i was told they don’t bill to the room ( which is fine) again had to pay cash. I stayed here for two nights, they only provide complimentary water once and will not restock water like all the other hotels do. Facilities are nice and clean..I like to workout late at night and I was told that the gym is closed and I can ask for the key in the morning. The only reason I booked this place was because it had a gym which I was unable to use due to their timing. It’s not 24/7 .

Don’t let the look fool you! Rooms are small and don’t count on 2 queen bed when it’s displayed online. It’s one queen and a couch barely fit one person which they count it as a queen bed! Small bathroom, small shower, don’t expect much! No taxi available! Away from everything! They don’t let you bring your own food by the pool. Pool needs repair and unsafe!

The biggest problem with this hotel is the staff. I repeatedly asked concierge questions and received very poor answers if at all. On one occasion I asked if the hotel restaurant had live music in the evening I was assured it did both by reception and restaurant reception. When I arrived for dinner did not help that there was in fact no live music. To add insult to injury I asked for my steak rare and was presented with a piece of charcoal that I sent back. Check in staff were arrogant and when I tried to have a shower I discovered there was no shower gel. It took 3 different attempts to have this replenished and over 4 hours. There is so many failures I don’t have time to even say them. Only positive I can think of where the parking staff. Hotel has potential but manager has lots of work to do!
