"Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming boutique hotel offers easy access to nearby restaurants and beaches. The friendly staff and owner made everyone feel welcome. We felt safe and well cared for and the food was excellent. The room was clean and spacious too. I highly recommend this place."

"The property is stunning and beautifully crafted, every corner of the property was picture perfect and aesthetic. The staff were extremely friendly and the manager, Rohan was super helpful - he helped us book our safari and massages. The pool is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos and is clean. The breakfast being included was super helpful and was very yummy with a good selection and excellent ingredients. Neem is extremely peaceful and relaxing. The beach right outside the hotel is stunning but not the best place to swim so I would recommend either staying by the pool or venturing out to nearby spots such as welligama or mirissa if you want to swim or polhena beach for turtle snorkelling - all within 20 minutes of the hotel. Our stay was wonderful and I would recommend this hotel to anyone, it is perfect."

"Stayed 2 nights in August. Spacious hotel with plenty to explore, we wished we'd had more time to make the most of all the facilities. Had a small hiccup with our room allocation at check-in, but the team resolved it quickly and professionally. Food was a highlight - great buffet breakfast with a wide selection, and good options across the various restaurants on site. We also played 18 holes of golf; the caddies were professional, polite and added a lot to the experience. Would recommend for a relaxing stay with plenty of facilities to enjoy, just make sure you allow enough time to see it all."

"We stayed in the King Coco room which was great. Large room, large bathroom, comfortable king size bed and a balcony with seating and garden furniture with a pool and sea view. Suresh and the team at Coco Tangalla were excellent. They were extremely helpful and attentive we felt we could ask them anything. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, homemade juices, delicious coffee and a choice of main breakfast, either Sr Lankan, European/American or healthy option. Pool area was very clean with comfortable sunbeds. Would definitely consider coming back."

"We had an exceptional stay at Turtle Bay. From start to finish, the service was a consistent **5-star experience**; every staff member went above and beyond, and we were honestly gutted to only be staying for one night. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a very warm welcome, including cold cloths and a refreshing drink—exactly what we needed after a long journey. Our room (Green Turtle) was lovely: spacious, featuring twin beds, dressing gowns, and a large bathroom stocked with toiletries. We also had a generous balcony overlooking the pool and beach, which provided the perfect vantage point for sunset views. This was one of the only rooms we stayed in in Sri Lanka that had a full length mirror, an added bonus. The only thing we found was the sheet on the bed wasn't quite enough for us, and we should have asked for a blanket but didn't at the time, otherwise we slept very well and the beds were very comfortable. The restaurant offered a fantastic range of dinner options, from fresh seafood and local delicacies to international dishes—all at very reasonable prices. **Note:** While everything is priced in USD, payment is made in LKR. Breakfast was equally impressive, with a great selection including fresh fruit platters, made-to-order omelettes, and toast. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our visit. "Our stay at Maya Tangalle Manor was absolutely fantastic. The hotel is wonderfully quiet, with elegant décor and a beautiful room that opened onto a private patio. The garden is stunning, filled with magnificent, towering trees and peaceful rice paddies that create a truly serene atmosphere. The food was delicious, and breakfast each morning was a real highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly makes this place exceptional is the staff. Everyone was incredibly patient, kind, and attentive to every detail, always making us feel genuinely cared for. A special thank you to Prashant, Sampath, and Kavi for their outstanding hospitality.
