Even though I ordered room service, I had to wait over two hours. I contacted them twice, but they were not very sincere in their responses. I felt sorry for the children because they were hungry. There are plenty of pools and play areas for children. It's a five-star hotel for kids and a three-star hotel for adults. Most of the staff were smiling and full of hospitality.

Feels like our home away from home!

This was already our fourth stay at The Sands – and once again, it exceeded our expectations. Our kids absolutely love this hotel, and so do we as adults. It’s the perfect place for a relaxing and fun family holiday. The water park is a hit with the little ones, and the beach is stunning - clean, peaceful, and just steps away. We also appreciate how easy it is to reach the main road with just a short walk, where you’ll find plenty of shops, a 7/11, and great local restaurants. The Sands has truly become one of our favorite places to return to, and we can’t wait for our next visit. Highly recommended for families looking for a perfect balance of fun and relaxation!

We stayed at three different hotels in Khao Lak and this is the best hotel for family! - Great amazing water park - Super fun kids park - Close to the beach - Close to restaurants - friendly staff - Great value for your money! Highly recommend this hotel!

Fantastic hotel with a beautiful beach front restaurant with the most amazing views The room was spacious and very clean with shower and bath facilities Area outside hotel is full of good restaurants only a ten minute walk also if you are into diving you have the Dragon dive centre very close by .
