"Clean efficient hotel close to train station...little further from historic district...but no problem if you're able to walk...difficult to get extra towels after onsen...but amazing breakfast..."

"Excellent location with onsite parking. Walking distance to all attractions and shops. Rooms were clean & nicely furnished. Compact yet cozy with good amenities. Hotel provided a recommended list cafes/restaurants. There was also free flow of drinks during tea and post dinner (including sake) at Lobby area. Would definitely stay here again."

"great place to stay"

"The rooms are quite spacious and indeed it's just a stroll away from everything you'd want to see in Takayama. Also it was one of the few accommodations where apple airplay worked on the TV so bonus points for that."

"Large clean room, laundry and kitchen! Oh yeah, and complementary sake and sangria was lovely ! Perfect location to the train a bus stop as well!"

"The location is very convenient and the onsen is amazing. The room has a good size and the beds very comfortable."

"Good location, excellent value breakfast. Whilst parking is first come first served there was lots reserved. As with most modern hotels the lifts are a bottleneck and no clearly signposted stairs as an alternative."

"Wonderful stay"

"Excellent breakfast and very nice onsen"

"Very handy to the station and local sights. Super friendly staff. Loved the open air onsen and the beautiful rustic town."

"Right across road from train station!"

"We had the best time in takayama and not least because of our stay here. It was one of the highlights of our Japan vacation. It feels really traditional yet well maintained and clean. The room was so nice and cosy. We also enjoyed the public bath. I hope we get a chance to visit again sometime."

"This hotel was next level. From the amazing, friendly staff to the Hilton level amenities and standards. We were greeted in fluent English by super friendly staff to what seemed like a very empty resort. We believe it only seemed empty due to renovations to the second tower. We booked a private onsen for your family at the front desk and went to our beautiful room. The buffet dinner was fantastic and to follow the breakfast buffet was equally amazing. Best hotel we have stayed at so far on our...
