"Clean room, typical Japanese room size (not too small but not spacious). Convenient location. Parking could be limited even though they said hotel guests have priority. They have additional offsite parking partnerships if parking is full."
"It was difficult to find the hotel because the only sign outside was in Japanese and the place looked deserted.
A passer-by took us in and I was surprised to find everywhere in semi darkness, the reason being that we had entered just before check in.
The room was spotless, warm and comfortable with both dinner and breakfast included on the price.

"Excellent stay! Hotel is very new, modern and spotlessly clean. Perfect location, just a 5 min walk from Himeji station and the Shinkansen. Staff were really friendly and helpful at check in. Stayed in a twin room and it was a great size vs. other rooms we had stayed in during our Japan trip. Would strongly recommend!"
"Tatsuno is a charming, former samurai town that is easily explored on foot. We were in the area to visit the Hijemi Castle, and were very happy to be in Tatsuno, away from the bustle of tourists.
The machiya is large, beautiful, elegant, and very comfortable...we could spread out and relax. We loved our short stay in the refurbished traditional home. As designers, we appreciated the architecture and tasteful decor. The traditional bathroom, with soaking tub, had lovely amenities. The garden is a delight.
We had a great stroll around town and visited both the castle and the Shoyu Museum, which was very interesting.
Would highly recommend Villa Kurasu. Beautiful home, host/innkeeper was very nice.
It's challenging to get a taxi/driver, so if you don't have a car, be prepared to walk to the train station."
