  • Last night we went to a Taoist Temple in Taipei. You can see in the close up picture of people praying how they receive and answer immediately from the prayers. After kneeling and bowing, you throw two "stones" onto the floor. They are both crescent shaped with a sun and a moon side. If they end up both on one side, the answer is NO. If they end up both on the other side, the answer is maybe, or not enough information. If the end up like a ying and a yang, then the answer is YES. I took a moment to pray, asked my question and got a ying and a yang out of the throw. The belief is, that the result comes from within your own heart.

Neat kind service

For the price it’s worthy of staying in the city business mixed residential area. Be aware of the rush hour traffic noise on the street in theTraditional Breakfast within greeting service, mostly Japanese and local frequent clients.

Carpet was stained, bedding old and the food wasn’t too good. Tub is dangerous to get in and out of and you have to be under 4 feet tall to stand under the shower. Room had a moldy smell.

浴槽付きの部屋を予約したが、シャワーのみの部屋だった。フロントに問い合わせたら、予約時に浴槽のリクエストを受けていない、とのことだった。それなら部屋の詳細に浴槽ありと書くべきではない。２泊目以降、部屋を変えてくれたが、謝罪等はなく、浴槽のリクエストをしなかったこちらの落ち度だとのこと。また、その部屋の浴室の換気扇の音があまりにも大きくて、慣れないレベルだった。 朝食は３泊のうち一度だけ行ったが、無料でも食べたいと思うレベルではなかった。 立地は地下鉄の駅まで10分程度歩くので、決して良いとはいえない。 あまりにも値段不相応で、台北市内のホテルが高騰してるとはいえ、2度と宿泊することはない。
