Royal Seasons Hotel Taipei Nanjing West
Great breakfast selection (taste of Taiwan), and loved the free drive to Taipei Main Station service (book at the reception in advance).

LUMOS INN
No stairs so keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. Otherwise the common area was a nice touch with free tea and snacks. That was surprisingly nice. The weird steps in the room and the bathroom took a little getting use to. Overall decent stay. Close to some good markets and street food.

Great location on a budget. Sound insulation is lacking however. I can hear guests from other rooms (especially if they use the washroom/shower).
