Top Taipei Confucius Temple Hotel Reviews
citizenM Taipei North Gate
10/10 Excellent
"The service was top notch. All the citizens employees spoke English very well. The room was clean with a nice view of the river. Ximending was a 5 min walk. MRT is a 3-4 minute walk either way. I found most of the meals better than the street food. Taipei City under ground Mall is about a 5 minute walk connected to the MRT main station. I found the food there better than the night market. Breakfast at Citizen M had a variety of western and Asian dishes. I highly recommend this hotel, but I do have some cons about it. If you stay in the higher floors, there’s some random noise that kinda sound like a dog barking every 15-20 mins and it sounds like a person placing a cup down on a counter. The elevator system are not sinked so everyone presses all of the button so when your on the elevator it stops frequently. Other than that it’s an awesome place to stay. "
"The stay is great, hospitality services, location transport and food options are good, with washing machine & dryer options too. A little downside i observed is the remote controller sensitivity to the tv, and the towels water absorbent is not as good. Still a great stay nonetheless. Cheers."
"The hotel is really on the high end and we enjoyed our stay there. It is convenient as as such travelling by bus or train was excellent. The hotel dining staff are so helpful, they tried their best to accommodate our needs even with their english & our mandarin language difficulty.
We will definitely come back. "
"Clean room and offer a lot of amenity. The staff was professional and great service. Any room requests were promptly delivered. Overall, our experience was great and will stay at this hotel again if we happen to visit Taiwan in the future. "
"The hotel delivers an exceptional experience from the moment you arrive. The accommodations are both luxurious and comfortable, with rooms that are impeccably clean, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with every amenity one could need.
The staff is warm, professional, and attentive — always ready to assist with a smile, making guests feel truly welcome and cared for.
One of the highlights of the hotel is its exclusive cigar lounge, which exudes sophistication and charm. It’s the perfect place to unwind, offering a carefully curated selection of premium cigars in an elegant, relaxed setting.
Overall, this hotel combines world-class hospitality with refined comfort and unique experiences, making it a perfect retreat for both leisure and business travelers"
"We had a superb experience staying at The Grand Hotel in Taipei. Among hotels of similar level, this one stands out for its thoughtful service and attention to detail.
The staff were consistently warm and helpful — from the front desk and concierge to the transportation team, restaurant servers, cleaning staff, and luggage attendants. Everyone made us feel welcome and well taken care of.
What impressed us most was how comprehensive the services were. The hotel helped us arrange taxis, airport shuttles, and even a private driver for a day trip outside of Taipei, which was the highlight of our stay. They also offer on-site currency exchange, which was very convenient.
The hotel itself is true to its name — grand in design, well-maintained, and very clean. There's a real sense of history and elegance throughout the property.
For the level of comfort and service provided, we felt the price was more than fair. It was excellent value for the experience we had.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and well-run place to stay in Taipei.
