Not yet a year old, this hotel has everything done perfectly, up to the little fried quail egg that they put on top of the rice for breakfast. Having only 7 rooms, it is small enough that one feels at home but since it has lots of open areas - there are salas upstairs and downstairs and a big balcony, plus a really big garden - one also gets a sense of privacy. The staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good. You can ask for your breakfast to be served in the garden. It is just two blocks from the Taal Basilica but in a quiet part of town and sits on a ridge so that the garden overlooks the Church of our Lady of Caysasay and its environs, and the town of Lemery and even faraway Mt. Batulao.
