Δύσκολη η πρόσβαση στο κατάλυμα. Στις πέντε μέρες διαμονής μας, δε συναντήσαμε κανέναν στη reception. Την απόδειξη τη βρήκαμε πεταμένη έξω από την πόρτα. Όλο αυτό δείχνει μια απρόσωπη προσέγγιση. Ούτε ένα τηλεφώνημα, αν χρειαζόμαστε κάτι, ούτε ένα προσωπικό μήνυμα. Πολύ σημαντικό: Βρήκαμε το δωμάτιο καθαρό, όμως όλες τίς μέρες της διαμονής μας δεν πραγματοποιήθηκε καμία υπηρεσία καθαριότητας στο δωμάτιο, ούτε αλλαγή σε πετσέτες ή σεντόνια, ούτε φυσικά καθάρισμα στο πάτωμα ή στο μπάνιο. Μόνοι μας αδεισαμε δύο φορές τα σκουπίδια από την τουαλέτα.Καταλαβαίνουμε ότι λόγω covid έχουν αλλάξει οι συνθήκες παροχής υπηρεσιών, αλλά η τόσο απρόσωπη και αδιάφορη αντιμετώπιση, δημιουργεί πολύ άσχημη εντύπωση στον πελάτη. Ωραίο και προσεγμένο το δωμάτιο, ωραία θέα, εκπληκτικό το στρώμα. Ένα καλαθάκι απορριμμάτων στο δωμάτιο και μια πολυθρόνα, θα έκαναν τη διαμονή περισσότερο λειτουργική.

Gem in Hermoupolis

This was a fantastic find in Hermoupolis. Very lovely boutique hotel with attention to detail, I felt pampered for the five nights I spent here. Great town and island to explore, I felt very safe as a solo traveler. The owner was very professional and personable, even picking me up from the port and dropping me back off at the end of my stay. Even though the hotel is an easy walk from the port, and pretty much everywhere, this service was appreciated because the town is full of steps! I highly recommend this gem.

Wonderful hotel

Lovely hotel. This is a small family-run hotel. The owner met us at the ferry port and drove us to the hotel. Very friendly. Gave us good advice on planning an itinerary to best see the island on limited time. They even upgraded us free.

The most charming place

I was experiencing delays at every step of my trip. Konstantinos kept contact with me every step of the way and met me at the ferry when I arrived. The room was fantastic. The bed was so comfortable and the terrace was spacious and had a wonderful view of both the water and parts of the island.

Excellent séjour, chambre calme, un peu petite mais parfaitement équipée. Manquant un peu de places de rangement. Belle terrasse. Hôtelier très agréable, attentif à satisfaire tous nos besoins. Est venu nous chercher au port et nous y a reconduit le jour du départ. Copieux et varié petit déjeuner.

Unexpected Greece at Easter.

Interesting town, with lots of neoclassic buildings. Wonderful views from the elevated sites, worth going to may be by cab, but walking back from Ano Syros is a must. One hour from the very different Mikonos and half hour from the also very different Tynos. Many good restaurants, Greek food at its best. Some colorful religious ceremony. People go and meet in churches socially. The hotel is excellent, although not so easy to reach, since you need to walk up several steps even from the nearby main square (good for you exercise though...). The owner is very helpful indeed in coming and pick you up when you arrive and leave with luggage. He and the personnel are very kind.

Excellent room, generous hospitality

Top suite, grand terrace with jacuzzi, fabulous view over Ermoupolis and the sea. Small hotel, few rooms, very quiet and peaceful. Konstantinos and Maria proved to be excellent and generous hosts. We will definitely return, and highly recommend this wonderful site to others.

Syros: an island to remember

Highly recommend 1901 Hermoupolis. It is a boutique hotel, decorated with taste. The owners make you feel at home; they are extremely helpful; personable and friendly. Frankly the whole time we felt we were away with friends. Our room veranda had a Jacuzzi large enough for two people (weather was not great so we did not use it) and it was a most relaxing place with views overlooking the city and the harbor. Easy walking distance to everything. All in all one of the best places we have ever been. If you visit Syros stay there!

Sehr schönes,neues Hotel mit fabelhaftem Frühstück. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und stets bemüht hilfreich zu sein.Ein Shuttle Service ist inbegriffen. Es liegt erhöht (200 Stufen) ist aber per Taxi erreichbar. Die letzten Schritte müssen zu Fuß gegangen werden. Parkplätze für den Mietwagen finden sich in der näheren Umgebung.Die Zimmer sind mit Fliegengittern ausgestattet.
