Very clean. Helpful staff. Nice bed and pillow. Great shower. Extraordinarily convenient parking. Great location. The only thing I don’t like was the AC wall unit which ran on quick cycles and was noisy.

Dated exterior belies the modern , spacious rooms. Quiet, comfy bed, very modern bath. Two decent restaurants behind the hotel. Walkable to university. Staff would have gotten higher marks but the afternoon staff showed no interest in helping out of town football fans in for a game with early check in, storage of bags Etc

The location was unique. The infrastructure was very pretty and unique. I did a lot. However, the staff was not very helpful. The breakfast was less to be desired very basic. The eggs didn't even look like they were real had zero amenities.

The staff were outstanding and very friendly. Arrived late at night and my room was not serviced and instead of turning me away the manager serviced the room at midnight. Under construction so common areas are cordoned off and parking is very limited.

we lucked out on this hotel because they just renovated it. everything was new. There were still certain floors still under renovation so one of the elevators was reserved for the workers. this didnt affect our stay. Certain parking spots were occupied by construction trailers and vehicles but we managed to find parking. The common areas including the front lobby and the breakfast room were in great shape. the contents of the free breakfast was terrific. Alot of variety of food. Overall a pleasant stay.

Renovated guest room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit tight in my room but other rooms have a more spacious design. The bath towels were small and a bit disappointing. The hotel was quiet although street noise was experienced due to the downtown location. The provided breakfast was average. The staff were all helpful and pleasant. Parking was onsite and there were plenty of spots. The hotel lobby is preparing to be renovated and the hotel is transitioning to a Hilton brand so it will be exciting to see the changes.

Wonderful 1920’s hotel. We have stayed a number of times over the last few years. It is safe, intersting and convenient to Syracuse University. We have just loved the historical features of the hotel. Not fancy, but clean comfortable and friendly. Now it is being overhauled by A chain and remodeling is feeling cheep. Room doors over painted and sticking badly. Other minor things we were willing to chalk up to growing pains until we learned about the generic overhaul of the lobby planned to obliterate the charming and gorgeous carved cement entrance . I’m happy to see a great old hotel get saved, but no need to take away its charm!

Got there late and no one was at desk for 20 minutes so we had to wait outside. Then because of construction, and poor parking of others, we couldn’t find parking spot and had to park in a questionable spot. Room was fine and breakfast was as expected - though coffee was very weak. Location was food. Once construction is complete, it would be great.
